Wash and dry

Two shampoos where the coat needs it, one where it does not, a rinse that goes on longer than you would think necessary, and a towel before any dryer comes near. We dry by hand on the table with a stand dryer, brushing as we go so the coat lifts and separates instead of drying flat. Nails and ears are checked at the end at no extra charge. This is the booking for short coats, well-kept double coats and the fortnight after a full groom when the dog has found something dead to roll in.

What is included

• Warm hydrobath wash with a plain gentle shampoo
• Full rinse and conditioner where the coat needs it

• A spritz of finishing spray if your dog will tolerate it

How it works

1. Comb through and check for knots before the water
2. Wash, rinse, and rinse again
3. Towel first, then stand dry with a groomer at the table
4. Brush out and check nails and ears
